All good things must come to an end...

After a busy last couple of weeks in Barcelona it finally feels like things are slowing down and coming to a close. In the last 2 weeks I had my friends Lizzie, Geneva, and Alana (all from Berkeley) visit me here in Barcelona, and had Madeline's good friend Liz visit for a bit, as well. It's been so fun to have visitors here in Barcelona and show them around the beautiful city that I've really gown to love over the past five months.  The past two weeks have also been filled with final exams, projects, and papers which came as quite a shock after very, very little school work over the semester!  Now I have only one paper left to turn in before I leave for London and I'm officially done with my academic semester here in Barcelona.  It's crazy how fast this semester abroad has gone!

As things are really winding down I'm trying to savor every moment in this city!  I'm spending my days walking around exploring new neighborhoods and places and relaxing at the beach with friends- not a bad way to pass the time :).  In just over a week I'll be meeting up with my family in London and spending 2 1/2 weeks traveling through London, Paris, and Madrid before finishing up with a couple of days in Barcelona and heading back to the states on the 4th of July.  I am so excited to meet up with my family in just a few weeks, but leaving Barcelona for good hasn't really hit me yet.  In the mean time I'm trying to enjoy every day I have left here!

Here's what my last few days have looked like:

Málaga, Morocco, y Granada!

Last weekend I took my last trip of the semester with my friends (Madeline, Katie, and Frannie) back to the south of Spain.  I loved my last trip to Andalucia and I've been so exited to go back ever since we booked our trip!  Here are some highlights of my trip!

Málaga: Picasso Museum, Picasso's Birth home, Alcazaba (fortress), Málaga Cathedral, the Costa de Sol beach, veggie paella

Morocco: crossing the Strait of Gibraltar, camel ride, Moroccan markets, seeing the Mediterranean, Strait of Gibraltar, and Atlantic Ocean meet!

Granada: drink +free tapa rule, hiking around the city and hills, Granada Cathedral, the ALHAMBRA!
